yup. love it. not at all sure why. the vivid colors of yours stay in my mind all day after looking at this piece. is it the same medium as the one you used on bm 100? is it just oil pastel? also, the smudge…i know that's intentional. it anchors the neg space at the top of the drawing. you know, shelton makes those ink or thin paint smudges with a toothbrush that he runs his thumb over. you know? it looks a bit like airbrush in the way that the pigment is dispersed – like on that piece of his that i have called "life and how we left it".
this one is great. it reminded me immediately of that little drawing that shelton did recently on an old yellowed correspondance…know the one i mean?
