thanks, it's from a 1932 parade in Natchez. I'm doing a series of paintings of details from some old photos of this parade. it was the year the Pilgrimage started. The float these folks are watching is a "Diddie, Dumps and Tot" plantation float, put on by something called the "Murray School of Expression". Which I wish was still going when I was growing up.
